So Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu is the biggest suprise this season, i watched it on a wim and honestly wow. The writing is really smart and funny, the characters are interesting and its got enough humour and a decent premise to keep me watching.

Yuuki is my favourite character so far, such a cute, shy girl that wants to be a hentai artist.

Deffinitly gonna keep watching this. Also my show count is now 11.

For me, My biggest surprise this season is ----> Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu

- LIke how I didn't really get the synopsis of it. I didn't know what "Rakugo" was.

- It has the "Josei" genre, which is a first for me in Anime. I think I've only reach 1 or 2 Josei mangas.

- And it was set in that "era" which again I didn't really know what to expect.

Sooo im surprised that im really liking the vibe and the setting it is in. And I did cried from laughter 1 in each episode so far =D Like the comedy there is quite REAL. Different to the comedy in most animes I've watched.

Never seen Princess Jellyfish, Nodame Cantabile, or Chihayafuru?  Those are a few of my favorite anime and I highly recommend all three.

Nodame Cantabile is one that I'd especially love to see more people try.  It's a bit older but both the anime and the live action are fantastic and extremely original.  Both were long running series in Japan and were very popular.  In a medium of cliches and templates, there are no other characters like Nodame.  She's brilliant, lazy, simple, silly, stubborn, and sometimes obsessive.  She makes watching generic characters difficult.  I've watched the anime and live action several times each.

If anyone is looking for something to supplement the endless stream of teenagers with superpowers, I suggest giving Nodame Cantible a shot.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! ep 2. This might have just become a contender for my AOTS.

Hmm... Its good but I doubt it will be my AOTS. Assclass S2 is supposed to be better than the first and there are other shows I have my eyes on like grimgar.

It's easily the funniest anime of the season for me. It's absolutely ridiculous in all the best ways.

It looks very cute! I'll see if I can handle it.

OP looks very nice. Good job and thank you for the effort. Lovely wintery picture of Mio.

"Character of the Month" was a nice idea but after hundreds of pages into the thread it's probably not that meaningful to have it back there on the first page. If someone is going to do a "Character of the-" post, they should probably make it current and post it at the end of the thread.
