This fall season sucks so much. There are only like 5 animes that I watch. In previous seasons this year I watched pretty much everything.

And how do you know it was mostly filler? Did you read the LN and see added content cause added content/anime only content is what is filler.

Yes! For me the characters and the sport itself stands out. 

The manga is so good, they could easily make another season from it.  I get caught up in almost every single game, even when I can probably guess the outcome.  I also like that it gets more into the both the Queen and King, both of whom are more interesting than it would seem.

K is a pretty great show. The music, use of color, characters, and general plot are nice. I just finished episode three, and it makes me wish I could just blast through the whole season like I was able to with season one.
