Anyone saying that is crazy
granted I'm not far in the game yet, but I've seen only a very few dips, and they haven't been anything major at all. The jump to 60 fps for this game is an incredible difference.

DISCLAIMER: not hating on the game or the scores of the Remastered version. ;)

Great impressions, Ben! I haven't played the game yet because I felt in my heart that they would release a next gen port. Now I get to experience the version the PS3 was meant to be. |
Prepare to be blown away, I'm so jealous of everyone who will experience this for the first time with the Remastered version.
It really is gorgeous and in many ways looks as good or better than a lot of next generation titles.
Another amazing TLOU thread overrun by notorious clickers.
The PS5 Exists.

I know what you mean. Looking at the PS3 version, and it's still a gorgeous looking game. Even by today's standards. Seeing it with all the upgrades will be a feast for my eyes, even if I played the original. Can't wait for next week when I finally get my PS4 with the game!
By the way, they mentioned something about the sound quality and options... Could you explain what they are?

Well.. To be honest.. I wanted an upgrade fee so that I can keep my ps3 version and also be able to move over and continue playing it on my ps4. But because there would be no upgrade/discount.. This was the next best thing. My advocacy was that previous owners shouldn't have to rebuy the game for $50. Didn't want to spend so much for a 1yo game.. Considering I already invested in over $75 into the game and for the most part, Sony and ND already got my money for the game.. Anyways, would of still loved to be able to keep my ps3 disc, but alas, it comes down to whether I wanted to continue dusting off the old fatty to play TLOU or be able to play it on the new gen.. The value of the ps4 version at $25 plus all DLCs and added bonuses from GameStop.. Made it a better value in my eyes, even if I had to give up my ps3 version in the tradeoff. It was better for me to be able to move over to new gen then continue to live in the old.. That in itself was worth it. |
pretty much this in a nutshell

I see you failed to read anything else in that conversation. Why would I be? |
Nope read it all, your more salty than a fat man running in a sweat suit in SoCal in Aug. That particular line was just icing
