got some more work to do for the next patch

Play Me
I don't understand the issue here... 30 fps takes less power than 60 fps, so they used that little extra room to bump shadows. What's the problem here? Would it have been better if they had left the shadows of the same? A bit of "forced parity" between 60 fps and 30 fps? I thought we didn't like that?
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

yep this is how exactly a 1080p game looks like.

PS3:

PS4:

Guessing that shot is from the standard 60 fps setting on PS4. Unfortunately, it seems like the shadows had to be dialed down in order to achieve the higher framerate. Not ideal, but meh.. I'll take that over "higher quality shadows", half the framerate and less responsive controls.
Apart from that though, image quality looks a lot better in the remaster - as it should (right-click and view in full screen for a better look).

I'd say it's more likely a bug. There would be little point in doubling the shadow quality, only to then randomly cull them from the scene. It being a bug seems especially likely since one of the shadows is out of position.

Well, it wouldn't surprise me tbh. ND has been pretty sketchy about the whole subject for the last couple of weeks, or so.
But yeah.. I'm just nit-picking here. The game still looks great.
