well at least there will be games like uncharted 4 to actually take advantage of that massive hardware gap.

Maybe in practice that gap ain't so massive?

A gap seems to exist, its just not massive.

A visible gap surely is there though. And if some third party, to keep the peace with Microsoft won't take advantage of it, Sony's first certainly will.

I'm sure sony's first party games will look better. Its always easier to push the limits when you only have one target. Thats why ryse looks better than anything on the PS4.

*I know on paper some PS4 games have better specs but I haven't seen anything as eye-meltingly gorgeous as Ryse from PS4.

Guess next time i comment on comparison threads ill base my judgement on wishful thinking, not what is actually shown.

You mean 900p's Ryse ? I don't know it's a 1080p majority on PS4.

The gap is wider then you think.

Yes, 900p Ryse still looks better than any 1080p game on PS4 or XB1. Numbers are just that... numbers.

When the dev themselves say in a interview that they were aiming for parity so the enjoyment is the same across all platforms why should we expect anything different? Or do we expect the 50% gpu advantage and faster memory to go completly useless? Common sense folks. If both versions go 1080p30fps and minute differences in the graphic would you think both systems are about equal or the dev didn't care about the extra resources? Second seems more likely unless you lack math skills.

Numbers mean something actually. There is quite a difference between a 1600x900 game and a 1920x1080p game.

A gorgeous 1080p's open world like inFamous Second is technically more impressive than this 900p's game, sorry.

LOL and people wonder why the power discussion wont go away..not every game will stress the systems as much as some others. Whats your point? Destiny is an Ok not great looking cross gen title. What will you say when witcher 3, or others come out looking worse on x1?? Unless destiny ships with a better GOU and faster ram the x1 is weaker..period.

Bungie went for parity on a cross gen game..who cares.

The game looks nearly the same on ps3 for gods sakes. It's not a pretty game.

No it doesn't. It looks absolutely horrific on PS3 & 360. Download the comparisons on Gamersyde and stop using YouTube to compare.

I'm not talking about "technically more impressive". I'm talking about the fact that Ryse just looks better plain and simple.

You are probably not going to understand what I'm saying unless I give it a pro sony slant so here goes:

The demos of The Order 1886 are 900p/30fps and they look way better than forza at 1080p/60fps. Numbers aren't everything.

I agree.. and for that reason alone i wont be puchasing it.
