Great shots! I especially love the first and last one!

They're not mine unfortunately. I just picked what I thought offered something slightly different from Gaff.

Oh I thought you were also the one who posted those at Gaf. lol I wanted to post some of mine in Neogaf but I can't register because of their strict email add requirements. haha

You'll probably notice (if it's not already done) that I'm not exactly a great director :P

But well, it's something !

The last one with Joel is great! I'm confused how those blood veins appear though. They usually show when Joel gets bloody or when bitten by an infected but sometimes they don't. lol

It's actually blood dripping from his arm !

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

I say 'unfortunately' because I live in the UK and don't get the game until Friday. :(

I'm a sucker for black and white:

playing it again and not impress by the visual increase. Theres an obvious increase in visual however it stlll looks like a ps3 with horrible shadows. the shadows in the game are jaggie as hell. Even playing when there are quite alot jaggies . I was hoping for a visual jump like what we see in tomb raider definitive edition. The jump there is alot bigger as the game on ps4 does look like the ps3 version of the game In TLOU noticed alot of ps3 like textures in the environment , characters hair ad noticed that the in game models are not the cutscene models which ND boasted about. Plus i have experience quite a few frame rate drops and it happens quite often

If you want the shadows to look better, switch to the 30fps locked option, the difference is really big, see:

60 fps                                                                                                   30 fps

Still its embarassing considering its a ps3 game . Ps4 shouldn't have problems with a ps3 game.  Why 30fps when its all about 1080 60fps experience?

Well, it's simple.

The PS3 is like hell for devs. Porting it to PS4 must've been an optimization nightmare.

They didn't have THAT much time to do the remaster.

They didn't have a full team of devs.

That's why the port isn't perfect. There is no magic button "PS3 to PS4" to press.

Fair enough. Its just that should't hype the game the way they did and promise gamers all these things when at the end of teh day its us gamers who will play their game and we will  if they kept their promises.  Not delivering to their promise is not a good thing . Anyways its good game and fun to play  :)

Well, Naughty Dog promised improved textures and light effects, 1080p, 60fps for SP and MP, higher poly character models, and they did deliver.

I don't see what's the problem here, they actually delivered what they promised ! :)

They kept their promise of 1080p 60fps and that's great already specially for a game like TLOU. Also Photo mode. LOL

Stop responding to him folks. This thread is to celebrate photo mode.

Here is arguably the best photo taken of Joel in his natural habitat. Sorry I need to get one where there is light of Joel just getting wet.

Ouch, the compression doesn't do them justice...
