Forums - Gaming - I think the release date for Half Life 3 has been figured out

No. You must translate every letter to a number!

Half-Life 3 = 81,126,129,653!

And the release date will be Gabe Newell's birthday, November 3rd! The release date is November 3rd, 81,126,129,653!

A little over 81,126,127,639 years to go!!!!

Can't wait to turn into a zombie to play that game

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

This is beautiful. Seriously though, can Gabe stop toying with us? We know it's getting made, or else he wouldn't keep referencing it's existence. Just stop being a dick about it and say something. Or don't say anything until you can show us screenshots, a trailer, or a release date. Unless it's one of those three things, I don't care anymore.

there will just be a steamupdate, no trailer, no leaks, no release date, it will just be there.

and the internet will get crazy.

100% honest. I think that that would be a beautiful way to do it. I would also like review editions, so I can go to ign and just randomly see Half life 3 review. If they were to do it this way, it would be the most crazy release for a game ever lol.

Half-Life 3 is the game gamers deserve, but not the one that they need right now, so we'll wait.

So, 1, 2, 3, for the millenia number. Note that the century and decade numbers go from 9's to 0's, so they'll be 1's. The one's goes 8, then 4, so probably then 2. Which means the release year would be 3112. The 3, 1's, and the 2 represent Half Life 1, 2, and 3, while the two 1's represent Half Life 2 Episodes 1 & 2.

...

Half Life 3 confirmed!

Just stop it. Half-Life 3 will never happen. Period.

I just don't understand the hype behind this game. There was a lot of hype before half life 2. The game was good. But wasnt great. This is the most over hyped series in gaming.

I got into Half Life 2 and both its expansions just this year (late I know now). Even though its graphics are dated its gameplay, story and puzzles/levels hold up very well even by todays standard.Id say its better than some modern AAA shooters. It would be great for Half Life 3 to hit with the same level of polish and push the genre forward.

I played it when it got released. I liked the physics and gravity gun. Enjoyed it. Later uninstalled it. End of story. Nothing more; nothing less. But internet wants to over hype anything.
