Forums - Sony - PS4's voice commands

If you had to maybe press 20 times to get where you wanted, then i could understand someone using and preffering the voice commands.

Well you have to if you have a large game collection on the HDD. I'm only having around 20 games/demos at the moment (only the PS+ and the free stuff available), and as the UI doesn't have folders (yet?) you have to click a lot. Starting the games just by saying their name seemed perfect, but as I mentioned Towerfall doesn't seem to work with it and the feature is kind of useless if you can't rely on it.

Didn't even try them.

Your second paragraph reflects my thoughts 1:1.

I hope they will introduce some means of other game browsing and storring as the horizontal list is starting to get really really long even though I rarely go back to the end, it would still be nice to have some options.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I tried, and it worked flawlessly, and I'm a non-native speaker too.

One advantage over Xbox is that the console is not dumb, instead of saying "Xbox go to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Fag", you say "PlayStation, Black Fag" and it works. However, MS accept voice commands from multiple languages, such as brazilian portuguese, my language. And Xbox works within apps as well.

But I find voice commands quite stupid. PS4 is well designed and simple and is much faster just using the controller. And I also prefer DS4 over Xbox controller.

3DS, Wii, PSP, Vita, PS2, PS3, PS4 & Steam.

Works really well.. I was especially surorised that when selecting a title i sometimes didnt have to say the whole title. I believe for instance it was assasins creed. Where i didnt include 4 black flag.. Now how that is gonna work after the sequel im not sure. Y2k v2 perhaps?

I use them when I'm to lazy to get up and find the controller after a movie.

I was going to edit my comment, but I think it's funnier if I leave it like this.
