I've posted a few of my ideas about what I'd like to be seen done with amiibos in this forum. A cross franchise dungeon crawler, an amiibo based Monster Rancher, and a Nintendo version of salty bet.

The amiibo could be used in crazy ways, but what would Nintendo have to do to get you or others interested in their new smart toys?

Aside from Smash, it would be nice to see them in Mario Kart 8 for more characters
They also said it would be used in Woolly World, Captain Toad, and Mario Party 10, I don't know how it might be used in these games, guessing it will be additional characters for Mario Party also

One amiibo for every pokemon ha ha seriously who came up with the name amiibo?

They really should have bought out the trademark for amiigo, because it would be like "a mii on the go" and a play on amigo. It's really a dumb decision to name it anything other than that, but that's neither here nor there lol.

Someone at Nintendo :P, though they probably tried going for Amiigo, first, but there is already something that name, and then someone amiibo was born

They seriously need to do some kind of RPG or something that uses the figures in a Skylander fashion, since without that, the figures don't really add much to the overall game, and will just be bought by many as collector items. So somekind of RPG or open world Rpg/Action-adventure with the figures would also be nice. Also that Pokken Tournament thing would be nice.

Though something I see happening, and really hope I'm wrong, is that if something like Mario Kart 8 ever gets character DLC, it will be done via Amiibo figures instead of the usual download.

I actually wouldn't mind that too much. If it carries over to enough games down the road it could be a relatively cost efficient substitute for standard DLC, but it would be hell on completionists instead of "selectivists", that's for damn sure...

I don't really like the idea of them. Maybe use them to get some new characters in MK8.

I'd rather have a cool dungeon crawler without expensive, stupid add on toys. I guess what I would hope to see out of them is a colossal flop, though I know it won't happen.

Do you just come to rub crap into Nintendo threads for attention or something? Just curious.
