Forums - Gaming - Witches: A multiplat GoW ripoff

^ LOL I wonder what the wii game looks like. Do you think it has the same graphics as shown in that video?

What makes it a GoW rip off specifically? The action time sequnces?

Other then that it just looks any other hack and slash game, which have existed long before GoW.

To me it looks more like a ripoff of Witchblade or something....

Heavenly Sword looked more like a God of War ripoff from it's early screens.

Though admittidly the game does look horrible.

must be a new company (studio)/or a changed name as they don't have a wiki page and gamespot lists them as not having made any games yet.

They've made a number of games actually. Of which i've heard of nothing.

Probably due to being Spanish... i believe.

The list from most recent to oldest

The Westerner

Toonquad

Tooncar

Rocko Quest

Toyland Racing

Three sculls of the Toltecs.

Looks like my kind of game

The metal bikinis aren't skimpy enough tho

Looks like Resident Evil 4 camera with God of War gameplay...........SWEET!!!

It was originally supposed to be a 3rd person tactical combat game. Whatever that means... since they didn't change the setting at all.

Wonder if they abandoned those plans for a hack N slash fest or if they trailer is misleading.

If you are wondering where i'm pulling this and the above info from....

As mentioned above....

It is a song called Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell performed by the Chronos Quartet....featured in Requiem for a Dream by Darren Aranofsky.

I saw an X flash... timed button pressing?! noooo I'm already disinterested, though I have to say this isn't that much of a rip off. I mean just like Hollywood, there's only so much you can do. Most things have been done to death just gotta try to do it in a cool enough way.

Because obviously being scantily clad gives them more power. Video game logic is awesome.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
