Well, if Russian experts will be working there, western media will say that they faking the proofs. So Russian experts should come together with somebosy from the West or Malaysia.

Also, I think there are much better proofs. All missile launches there can be easily controlled with a radiolocation and sattelites. So I'm 99% sure that both Russia and USA actually have all the necessary proofs. So now they trying to find a delicate exit out of this problem.

My opinion is that plane was shot down, but not from the ground. It was shot down by Ukraine military jet, by some stupid mistake. Its easy to see on the photos of parts of fallen plane, cause the damage to plane will be very different from Buk and from plane missile.

That's a good point. Didn't think of that. Still someone from Russia should mention to the press that none of the investigators have arrived from Kiev. Right now whatever the media is showing is making Russia look very bad.

To be honest, i think we in Russia get used that we always shown in a bad light in western media. So f...k that, I don't think anybody really cares now. We tryed to believe West in end of 80s start of 90s but it only lead to the total robbery of our country with a help of 'western partners'. So - enough is enough.

Why hasn't Russia sent their own experts if the others haven't arrived? Also where is Malaysia's team? It was their plane so they should care the most about this.

Here's official letter from IAC on 19.07 (IAC on wiki) -- i.e. they're willing to joing ICAO team -- that's all I have on this. As for Malaysians, the first time I heard about them is this briefing, Boroday expects them soon. But again official ICAO statement is two day old now:

ICAO experts will shortly be dispatched to begin assisting NBAAII officials and we are grateful to be able to support these efforts

They are still in Kiev according to Boroday.

Well its very bad that Malaysia hasn't arrived yet. They should have been there within 24 hours of the accident.

Bolotov, the head of LPR: We're willing to help investigation. If it's needed we can hand over a single non-operational Buk-M1 we have.

So my memory serves me well, they indeed have one non-operational launcher.

Russian Ministry of Defence briefing. The translation to English is in the video. Its not perfect, but in general its possible to understand what was said:

"What I’ve been told by one source, who has provided accurate information on similar matters in the past, is that U.S. intelligence agencies do have detailed satellite images of the likely missile battery that launched the fateful missile, but the battery appears to have been under the control of Ukrainian government troops dressed in what look like Ukrainian uniforms.

The source said CIA analysts were still not ruling out the possibility that the troops were actually eastern Ukrainian rebels in similar uniforms but the initial assessment was that the troops were Ukrainian soldiers. There also was the suggestion that the soldiers involved were undisciplined and possibly drunk, since the imagery showed what looked like beer bottles scattered around the site, the source said."

And this is the moment everybody starts to grow indifferent to the subject :D

Media has barely mentioned it. Telegraph posted a single quote from the briefing under the misleading title. Thankfully Euronews aired a short episode on that. ZH expectedly has an elaborate article on this, but that's not exactly a mass media. And then of course we have RT.

Black boxes have been handed over to Malaysian experts.

Erm how? Geo-Eye 1 is still the highest resolution sattelite pointed at earth, resolving upto 41 cm, beer bottles are not that long.

This is the max possible atm, beer bottles, identifying uniforms lol.

Maybe they meant spy plane images.

Idk, but when I was a kid I received a Soviet kid's journal called 'Technika-molodezhi' (can be translated "Tech for the teens", it was AMAZING).

And I remember an article with a satellite photo of a man lying on a grass, and on the photo the time on his clock was clearly seen. And it was unclassifeied inmformation 25 years ago, so I think this kind of tech advances very much.

Also - this is an example of photo from Google. I think American military have something better in their sleeves!
