Anyway, thanks to you guys I have a pretty good idea about what the best RPGs are, but I'm looking for some recommendations for awesome games in general now. Genre is irrelevent. I like a little bit of everything.

Lastly, what's the most visually impressive Vita game? I'm far from being a graphics whore, but I am curious to see what my new toy is capable of.

The most visually impressive Vita game: Killzone Mercenary, Uncharted: Golden Abyss

  • Action-Adventures: Gravity Rush, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, MGS HD Collection
  • Action games: Dragon's Crown, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
  • creative/innovative games: Tearaway, LittleBigPlanet Vita, Sound Shapes, Flower, Guacamelee!
  • FPS: Killzone: Mercenary
  • Jump'n'Run: Ratchet & Clank 1 - 3, Sly Cooper 1 - 4, Rayman Legends, Mutant Blob Attacks
  • Music games: Lumines: Electronic Symphony
  • Pinball games: Pinball Arcade
  • Point&Click adventures: Broken Sword 5, Machinarium
  • Puzzle games: Jacob Jones, Quell Memento, Lemmings Touch, Limbo
  • Racing games: WipeOut 2048, Need for Speed: Most Wanted
  • Retro style: Fez, Hotline Miami, Retro City Rampage, Lone Survivor, Spelunky, TxK
  • RPGs: Persona 4 Golden, Final Fantasy X / X-2
  • Shoot'em Up: Velocity Ultra, Sine Mora
  • Visual Novels: Virtue's Last Reward, Danganronpa 1 + 2

Most important: get a PS+ subscription!

Oh, I plan to! I would have one already but I've been having a rough time getting my Visa validated on PSN. I looked into it and it's a pretty common problem, apparently. To put money in my PSN wallet I had to go to the website, and load it using paypal. I'll probably have to do the same thing for PSN+.

Ys: Memories of Celceta, Demon Gaze, and Soul Sacrifice are all great games if you are an RPG lover. Freedom Wars, coming out soon, is also looking awesome.

LBP Vita, Gravity Rush, Tearaway, and Zero Escape are also amazing games.

And I would recommend a digital library over physical for Vita. Physical games are kinda hard to find for the Vita now since no one sells them anymore, and they are a pain to put into the console anyway, since Sony designed the flap and ejecting mechanism horribly, imo.

I think Memories of Celceta will be one of the next games I get. Everyone says it's awesome, and I do like a good RPG.

I definitely want to go digital. I've already gone digital on my 3DS and Xone. Actually having to swap game discs seems very inconvenient to me these days, and I never buy or sell used games. The price of the Vita memories cards is borderline criminal, though!

True, but I've learned that keeping a 8GB memory card is usually sufficient. I just keep the rest of my Vita games on my PS3 so I can transfer them whenever I feel like playing them, so if you have one that would be great. If not, most Vita games only take an hour or so to redownload (at most), so I wouldn't worry about going all-digital.

Persona is the only game you need.

The rest (or most) are some console ports and what not.

Persona 4 is pretty cheap here -> https://www.videogamesplus.ca/product_info.php?products_id=20410

International shipping is around 5$.

I had the vita for 2 weeks and I took it back.no games.

VITA 32 GIG CARD.250 GIG SLIM & 160 GIG PHAT PS3

I actually once charged my Vita by plugging the USB port into a cell phone charger. I lost that little black rectangle for a couple of days and I was desperate. Pretty sure it works with any USB.

I thought Street Fighter X Tekken looked pretty spectacular, visually but I forgot I don't own Killzone. I'm gonna buy that this week! It may be my last Vita game, tho.

Visually most impressive is probably Killzone Merc then UC.

My favourites are

Tearaway
Ys
LBP
P4g
Guacameele
Gravity Rush

Petty good are also Soul Sacrifice, Uncharted, NFS MW (is pretty impressive what they managed on the vita), Whipeout 2048, Playstation Allsatrs (though i don't know how online is nowadays).
