So...pretty much what you're saying is Microsoft isn't innocent. They may not have started those things, but they took them to the next level.

Just whoever doesn't have X1 that cares about trivial issues like that. I travel a lot and the brick never caused me any issue whatsoever, be it weight, space or noise.

Trivial to you, minor annoyance to me. Kids, watch the power brick, don't touch the cord, leave the plug alone. And prying those child proof wall socket things out that then go missing is always fun. PS4, slide in, connect with standard power cable that's waiting inside the cabinet. That's trivial.

MS has done much better since Spencer took over. They are supporting indies better, and bolstering up their first party by bringing back games like Phantom Dust. It seems to me that their priority right now is games. 



Microsoft seems to be looking for outside companies to make their first party at the moment. We'll see how that goes.

Didn't dig at all.  Just replying to what I remembered from somebody else's post about why they hate Microsoft.  Can't remember most of it.  Honestly, most threads I make are replying to something I see elsewhere in the forums.


If Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo make stupid mistakes they deserve every bit of the backlash. It seems its just taking Microsoft a little more time to get adjusted to the industry. They've fixed all their problems so much my PS4 and Xbone are only separated by power and games now. Outside of that they are basically just pepsi and coke.


I'm with ya.  Last gen, my PS3 was for exclusives, Metal Gear and Final Fantasy games.  My 360 was for multi-plats and MS exclusives.  This gen, I see my PS4 being used for almost all multiplats and PS exclusives and my ONE only being used for exclusives but really, from my experience, they arent that different.  Like everybody else, I have my bias (Nintendo ftw!) but I don't let it blind me.  As long as I get the games I want, I'm happy.


I agree. The PS4 is where most of my gaming will be next year. Until then i'm playing Killer Instinct. Titanfall has lost its luster. The gameplay gets rather shallow after a while. Can't wait for Gears 4 and Scalebound (I just want gameplay damnit!) I am just waiting for Destiny now. I hate when Sony starts gens, but after the first year they start picking up the steam with exclusives and after that barely anyone can match them internally.

Nintendo is looking like the most attractive console right now, but I always play Nintendo last. Lets the games build up and get cheaper.

Is MS really innocent. If the evidence listed is meant to be the crimes committed by others some even before MS entered the home entertainment market then MS decided to copy and repeat these offences, so why should they get thanks for that and be let off for perpetuating them!

I can only speak from personal experience but PS2s fail rates were some of the worst ever. Probably worse than 360s. To make it even worse a broke 360 is broke, no question about it. But a PS2 had multiple ways to break, I don't technically have a broken PS2 at the moment but I also don't have one capable of playing blue disc games so...

Edit: As for PS1, didn't know there were ever problems with them. My original PS1 still works


Terribly bad. That shit was pathetic. No internet boom back then so most just grabbed another one.

Ignored most of that....... a company is soo innocent! (sarcasm). It's like Nintendo, everyone points the gun at companies when they do shit just like Sony got it before people even knew about the PS4. Microsoft have definitely had fuck ups, but thats what you improve on and avoid in future. Sadly Phil Spencer wasn't head of Xbox One at launch so it wasn't his decision so have all this crap, but luckily he's made it very clear that he's making changes and you can really see they have.

 

People choose to hate then thast's their issue, clearly not bothered about their PS4 if they are spending time arguging and making fanboy comments online.
