Would be a rather nice base line, but its a bit too early to tell yet. Weve thought that Wii U found its base line before but were wrong...
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I think the Wii U is starting to find its niche, and the drought between Mario Kart and the next big release hasn't been as disheartening as I expected (I really thought it would end up back at sub 30k numbers). The upcoming releases will certainly help diversify what the Wii U has to offer and make the library more tempting to those on the fence. I don't expect any of them to blow people's minds with their sales, but I hope to see incremental improvement to the baseline with each new exclusive release.
It's a lot better for sure. I did hope Smash would've released earlier to keep the momentum. Oh well

And now, see the latest updates:

Week of 14 June:
This week Wii U is increase, and 2 week ago is decreased very little... And this is summer. 1 year ago, the first week of July, Wii U have sold 22,782 unit... is increase of 175%. |
Okay increasing Wii U 2014 shipment estimate from 3 million to 5 million :)
If it lasts to the end of July.

If it increases by more than 5000 a week i'll be shocked.

there are still people who believe that Nintendo was serious with that estimate?
Lol...
You people get so salty over the wii u for no reason, it's going to do great for the rest of the year at this point.

I wonder if that matters as much as you think. Everyone I know who's now considering buying a Wii U (and it's suddenly a lot of people) are all sort of focused on the games already out. Sure, they're interested in Smash and everything else upcoming, but most discussions seem to be hinging on all the games they can already play for it. It would be great if more games were coming out too, but I think there's enough out there in the back catalogue for new purchasers to feel like they have enough to do until the fall when there's more games. I mean, if I had just gotten one now I personally wouldn't have nearly enough time to play everything worth playing on the Wii U between now and the end of September.
Heres hoping so but you should never count your chickens before NPD results are in.
