Forums - Sony - LittleBigPlanet, Priced & Could be the PS3's Biggest Game

if they market the bitch out of this game, then it could do well. that's the problem with sony, they can't market properly. microsoft know how to do it, and do it well.

uncharted, although did well, could have done better with a stronger marketing campaign.

Official prices in the UK = £49.99 for third parties, £44.99 for 1st parties, it used to be £40, but then they yanked it up, but most games sell for £35/40 online anyway

Wait, what? Full price for a game that's essentially a PSN download? (I know, it will be printed on Bluray, but still...)

This game will rock, but c'mon, PS3 games are fugging expensive already, this should've been a budget title.

I disagree.  If you bought games via auction I would go higher on only 1 other game.

I think it was first to be on psn but since hype boiled up sony decided to give more content and other things to improve the game. I think if it was not for the hype we would see Little Big planet early.

I honestly do not see this game taking off.
Unless they market it well ofcourse..

Isnt this suppose to be like the Youtube of PS3? I doubts that

Yeah, this game will bomb.

You guys just want it to bomb. I guess you people only support creativity if its on the Wii. Figures...

I'm not to predict whether this title will bomb or bust blocks, but it will be very interesting to see how this title sells. The HD consoles haven't had a major success with a casual title that didn't target the 15-25 year old male demographic. Will this be the breakthrough, or another Viva Pinata?

i don't think it will bomb. a lot of my friends who have a ps3 want it, and my friends mainly like shooters and racing games, just like me. As for me, im buying it, no question. it looks like a hell of a lot of fun, and im guessing it will be.
