So why won't doing odd jobs around town get you anything? capitalism my friend! There's a whole world of money out there, you just have to find out how to get it. Come on man, stop whining and get to work! No parent wants a lazy kid! You can't blame your parents forever.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

Dude this makes me remenber that I used to have a friend who I lend my psp cause his psp had the screen broken the thing is that the idiot lost my psp so in exchange I stay with his old psp and like 5 ds games including NSMB.
| MDMAniac said: At example of 20-yrs-old losers this thread is so full of, gaming much in high school doesn't offset you well. You seem to have good and caring parents, Soriku, so I advise you to be happy with them. Enjoy your wii when you have a special event, and get a life any nother day. Or, you could discover world of freeware / indie games, try cave story, for example, or teewars. |
I guess he is happy with them he only want more games and need some ideas to get them.
Well I guess this is Soriku's situation:
Soriku wants new games
We say work for it!
But his parents don't want that he works for it so he will not work for it (coz he wants to be a good son?).

Soriku, here's my advice:
Read my previous post.
Do it.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
You don't want used games?
Do you want to play games?
Go used or continue playing the same games over and over. Trade in the Legend of Zelda, and another game, and then you can get Brawl.
You don't have to tell your perents that you are working and it can't be that hard to get a job in the USA and if it doesn't work ypu have to gamble play some poker with your friends and get loads of cash.
Think twice before helping a friend in need.
Well, I have a paper route, and one day of work almost pays for a full game. In some cases it does! (Specialy at Christmas!!)
Soriku, I got my route almost a year ago, and filled in for someone elses route over the summer regularly. I started filling in for them when I turned 13. I'll be 15 the summer. Are your parents that strict over you not getting a job? Ask them if you can apply for a route. (PS this may not be a good idea depending where you live, and what the population is)

I wonder why Soriku is not replying maybe his parents discover him and he got grounded(lol).
@konnichiwa:
I'd say working this age is worth the effort if you are lazy and/or retard and/or have no talents. Otherwise it's much more rewarding to study and to foster such an interest/passion that will work for you after the school.
Of course my words are not appied to working four or five hrs/week, if he could find such a job.
