Yeah but that's it, with the possibility of Revelations. 2, 5, 6, Raccoon City, are all awfulness incarnate. The bad most certainly outweighs the good.

Raccoon City isn't a mainline entry (same with Outbreak).  RE2, 3, and CV are just more of the same but they're not bad by any means, and Revelations and Zero are decent.  RE5 wasn't very good, but of the main games only Resident Evil 6 flat-out sucks.

So I disagree with the bolded... for now.
