Also, it's out of stock on Wal-Mart and Gamestop online.  Also, I couldn't find one in stock in Gamestop stores within 100 miles of my location.

Is the Mario Kart 8 bundle officially no longer being produced?  If so, why did Nintendo produce such limited quantities?

It might come back after July 31 cause the deal is way too good, you are getting Mario Kart, a wiiU and another free game, but it probably wont till chirstmas or something.

That seems to be a odd choice. Remove the free game from the bundle if it's causing a loss. But not the whole bundle. It's still in stock at Nintendo World. But that doesn't help the rest of the world.

Probably because those are the limited quantities that retailers ordered.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo would love to sell more bundles, with or without software givaways. The bundle will return sooner or later.

It's strange, but since they say they'll be pusing MK8 all year, it will probably come back.

If it weren't for that bundle, I'd probably never would've gotten a Wii U. This is a pretty dumb decision to make this bundle limited edition though, since the only thing that's really "special" about the bundle is the Mario edition Wii Wheel (which I barely even use). The Mario Wii Remote that comes with the console can be seen everywhere on shelves (at least in my area) and there'nothing limited about throwing in a Mario game with the console. I really hope this bundle comes back, but I won't be surprised if it doesn't.

They might be making a standard bundle without the wheel and free download code.

Well that's dumb. It was selling so well so they need to bring it back.
