LOL it looks SOOOO much better.  You obviously haven't played this game much, if at all.

Initially the difference did not seam significant in the second screenshot, but then I noticed Ellie's neck which looks totally creepy on the PS3 (I don't know why, it's very flat), bug on PS4, the much better shadow fixes it.

There isn't nearly as much of a difference as some people make out.

Not that any was expected, it's essentially just a slightly upgraded port of a year-old game.
