How are those terrible numbers? PS4 and 3DS are back at the 100.000 numbers, WiiU is above its 30.000 sales, hopefully to stay at a most healthy 50.000, PS3 still selling good... The only ones weaker than the rest are the XBone, Vita and the others. The Xbone is still far to the sales of the PS4, but it's not a bad number, it will improve. The Vita outside of Japan worries me though.

Indeed. I think people are just surfing for doom-and-gloom at this point.

I think people are just comparing this gen with the 7th gen too much. 7th gen had two consoles above 100 million and three above 80 million units sold. That was the exception. In other gens the sales usually never reached 80m. Only 4 consoles before 7th gen did it: GB, GBA (barely), PS1 and PS2. The market is just returning to its normal size.

With numbers like these its pretty obvious the xb1 will catch up to the ps4 in the global US very soon

Xbox is holding up well (less than last week, better than 2 weeks ago). maybe the new base line will be around 60k-65k.

great number for the ps4.

Wii U seems to have reach a new higher baseline.

all great if you ask me.

Its funny that Wii U may be selling 50k a week now. XB1 has a small drop but better than having no push at all. PS4 and 3DS are killing it. Nintendo and Sony are killing it this gen.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Yep. I caught that. The PS3 had a price cut July 9, 2007.


Good.

But it still shows that Microsoft has nothing to worry if the Xone is selling ~60k a week. Those are close to the 360 first year with competition, eventhought it was cheaper and had better/more games.

Again, if only VGChartz is accurated. MS financial report will clear things further.

We have to wait till next week to see, because it dropped from last week. If it stays at 60k that is great.
