PS4 dominating everything right now. And it still will have better legs than competitors, so I think it's safe to predict some huge numbers for it.

Observation I had too. Curious when Europe really makes the PS3 to PS4 switch how much ahead it will be over X1 there.

Not surprised by xb one number. Consumers are less stupid than some might think it's not a price cut if what is taken away is the same value as the price reduction. And at the lower price it's still clearly seen as the lesser machine. Let's see if it can stay above 60k. I don't see it dropping to pre kinectless levels in any case.

PS4 up by 6% because? More people's birthdays that week compared to last?

Only relevant if you are trying to ignore the facts or in this case the context. Percentages are useless when a product is compared to itself. Like saying wiiU up 666% in relation to whatever WiiU sales were previously.

The context in this regard is by comparing one product directly to a different product competing in the same space. eg. PS4 sold 50% more than wiiU (100k+ to 50k+). In this case, even if the PS4 sold say 10k but sold 50% more than the wiiU.... that literally provides all the context you need.

But of course you probably knew all this already didn't you? :)
