The hilarious thing is all of you will still keep buying it along with your cool CoD games that are so fresh and innovative year after year...

I have never purchased a madden game or any sports game for that matter but I do own COD4. I don't think this comparison is a fair one because COD actually sells on it's own merit in a sea of competition whereas madden sells because:

1. There is no alternative thanks to exclusive contracts

2. People who love the sport are inclined to buy the game

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

When I was reading some of the "new" features for Madden 25 last year, like Owner Mode and being able to move your team and change the name, I laughed my butt off. Those were features I had back in Madden '05 (also the first and only time I bought the game new). Is EA's whole plan with Madden to take features away and throw them back in a few years later and call them "new"?

The last Madden game I bought was 2004. It's been a decade. And I saw nothing worth my money to keep buying it every year.
