Sony's H1Z1 is still due to be coming to Early Access shortly, but the free-to-play zombie survival MMO is still very much in the works at SOE.

All the same, Sony has released a new gameplay video from much of the content shown at E3 2014, detailing some of the features of the game.

The gameplay video - below - shows H1Z1 in action, detailing various gameplay elements such as combat, vehicles and - of course - crafting.

It also shows off the day/night cycle that will feature in H1Z1.

Additionally, SOE boss John Smedley tweeted a selection of images, confirming that weather effects such as snow will be included in H1Z1 - and will likely affect a player's ability to survive.

He also confirmed that weather - and note he said 'weather', not snow - will be coming to PlanetSide 2.

Seeing how he is currently surviving in the freezing cold with just a shirt on I'll doubt that statement.

Sounds awesome. More and more intrigued with this game the more I hear about it. Might be the killer app I need to buy a pS4.

H1Z1 is one of those rare games that manages to look both incredible and like ass simultaneously

Anyway, hopefully the weather realistically hinders the player, nut no excessively. Survival features are only good for as far as they are fun.

Will play it on PC if necessary but really hope it comes to the PS4 soon. I will pour so many hours into it...

early access is supposed to start soon for PC but the game is scheduled to release Fall of this year for both
