Howdy everybody, I am Numberfox.
After about a hundred posts I realized that there's an "Introduce Yourself" forum section, and thought I might as well give it a spin.
I grew up weirdly with console gaming: I grew up with the Gamecube, so I'm one of those freaks that find the GCN controller comfortable, and secondly console-wise I mainly grew up on multiplayer games like Mario Party 4, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! as opposed to Nintendo staples like Zelda or Metroid. I also played a lot of handheld games like Pokemon, Disgaea, Final Fantasy Tactics, Persona 3, and Yu-Gi-Oh! on my GBA/DS/PSP. My family eventually got a PS2 after the Wii came out, which I mainly just used to play Persona 4 and most of KH2 as well as FFX.
Currently I'm a PC/Wii U gamer hybrid, with a 3DS that I arguably play more than either because I go out a lot. I also have a younger brother who owns an Xbox One, PS4, and a gaming PC, and I'd say I get more out of my gaming consoles than he does. He's only played Titanfall and inFamous: Second Son on their respective exclusive consoles and plays everything else on his gaming PC.
I'm definitely a turn-based rpg sort of gamer primarily with a drive to play with friends IRL with consoles as opposed to online. However, I do play a fair amount of fps in the form of TF2, and have been recently getting into Dota 2. As you can probably tell, I'm pretty biased towards Nintendo, while PC gaming-wise I'm pretty biased towards Valve.
Two personal philosophies: Ya don't have much ground to criticize a console itself when ya don't own it (feel free to bash the company's practices though), and gameplay>graphics.
Current Consoles: Gaming PC, Wii U, 3DS

Consoles: 3DS, Wii U, and Vita soon. Super Paper Mario fan.
