Ratchet used to sell millions and Resistance did over 4m.  Maybe they should just stick with Sony and not exhaust their most successful franchise with spin offs in Tower defense and party play


Resistance only did 4 million because it was a launch title with nothing else to buy and then Sony bundled it for a year after that. The next iterations of Resistance sold worse with each release. Same with Ratchet in terms of sales as well. The first one on PS3 was successful and then they kept milking it until extinction. Then they made FUSE which bombed on all accounts. Insominac does not have a good track record as of late.

Yep sunset overdrive looks worse the more I see of it. Went from 7/10 interested to 4/10 stfu. Would have to play it on mute to not go insane.

lol... Insomniac now public enemy number 1 and a crappy developer for some all of a sudden I see.  Welcome to the club I have been a member of for over 9 years, where have you been?  Hilarious.

It may not sell massive numbers, but I am sure it should be on this chart. 

 

 

Yes their games have been poor most of the time. And yes it should still easily be on this chart. These are early days for gen8 and there's not much to play so even bleh titles should sell respectably.

 

I still think SO is doomed and will never see a sequel though. It is just launching at an incredibly stupid time. All the marketing and hype for bigger titles will steamroll it, seen it happen a million times. If it came out 2mo earlier it would sell stacks due to the game drought. If it came out in Jan it could pick up sales to new Xmas xb1 owners. The date they chose is suicide.

 

It just looks like a clunky game with poor graphics and repetitive gameplay IMHO. And the voice acting is insanely annoying in the e3 video.

 

Good point on cod:aw ps4, that will also sell huge. I'm guessing 1.2:1 ps4/xb1 split on that, which will hopefully nail the coffin on exclusive dlc deals which are skanky shite honestly.
