What Nintendo should have done was just continued with releasing adapters for their hand held games. Super DS could of been a USB add-on, connected to the Wii, that had DS hardware run on your TV. And same goes for 3DS. The Wii U is even more similar to the 3DS now. Just make it hardware based instead of emulation based. It does screw digital only people. But at least it allows something to be done. All it really needs is the system hardware and Wifi connection.
