No console will ever get to that level. I'd be surprised if we see a console get to 80 million ever again, or at least for a very long time. Consoles are dying This Gen really shows this with the consoles overall, not doing that well anymore especially when they are relatively new.

Not going to happen, look how amazing Watch_Dogs did in all consoles, I think it could do well even on WiiU, like 500k even.
However, I prefer to play on my PS4, the installs are smaller and quicker and the games perform better than in my Xbox One.

It won't be 6th gen level where games like GTA were exclusive for years or games like Final Fantasy which never went to the competition. I think smaller titles will go the PS4 route. Haven't there already been a few cases where this has happened this gen? I know it happened during the 7th gen with a few games.

But thats the really funny thing about what these poeple say. Microsoft doesn't even have "more" exclusives. I really don't know where that rumour is coming from. For the first tim in their history they are making an exclusive push cause they have finally accepted that its the best way to diffeentiate your hardware. Something they didnt care about at all last gen. Cause MS talks about exclusives at every press release doesn't mean that sony doesn't have any. They are just finally doing what sony was been doing for a while. 

In all honesty, anytime i see people make a comment saying PS4 has no games or sony has no exclusives.... I just know right there and then that those people do not have a PS or have not owned a PS console for a very very very very loooong time. Its like someone claiming that the get max achievement points in all their XB) games then let slip that the XB1 controller doesn't doesn't vibrate.

Wich is an enterely subjective point. For instance I hate FPS games and racing games, when MS anounced Forza Horizon as a 2014 big exlusive and Halo 5 as theyre flagship exclusive for next year I could go around saying Ms only have crappy exclusives and that would be super dumb, just because I hate FPS and racers (and by extension the Halo and the Forza Franchise) doesnt mean Ms has no interesting game, so going around clamming XOne has no games would just be royally stupid.

Nah the 6th gen of free 3rd party exclusives is dead. It all has to be bought now.

Only indies can be swayed at this point.

How is that "no games" ? Not to mention its heavelly rumored Guerrila is working on an open world RPG and everyone knows Santa Monica is working on something as well. There is also the Last Guardian thats bound to be re-revealed eventually after all Sony keeps reassuring everyone the thing is still in production.

As Rol pointed out, most of that exclusive third party support came from Japan. More importantly, a huge amount of support came from middle-tier Japanese development, which has since moved onto PSP, DS, 3DS, and now mobiles, because they've been priced out of home console development.

So long as Xbox One owners continue to buy Western multi-platform titles, Western publishers will continue to develop multi-platform titles. Again, far higher development costs and manpower requirements are at play here: third parties need a couple of successful consoles on the market to reap dividends on their investments.

you have said that twice now... well, I think people that mean "no interesting games" are equally as foolish as those that say no games. Because if a game is interesting or not is extremely subjective. 

I assume you are just point this out and not that you are one of such people so this isn't directed at you.
