Just wondering if it works like PS4 where I can have multiple accounts from different regions so I can download DLC for imported games or buy digital games that don't release here?

Looking at buying One today but just wanted to know about this first.

I'm kind of confused by the question ktay. Are you asking if it's region free? Because it is. Although, I'm not sure on the specifics. If you're looking to buy a One, I'd call support and ask them this specifically.

The Xbox One is region free however. Although I don't think that's what you're asking :(

I think every game released is available in every X1 country so I dont think anyone but MS knows.

I think it is in the terms of service that you need to have an account associated with the region that you use the system.

Theoretically you could have multiple accounts for each region with access to each of the digital game stores. Not sure if Microsoft employ any kind of IP blocking now as in Europe a few people found out that digital games were significantly cheaper on the Hungarian market price and started to exploit it.

In general, it seems to be tolerated as many people not in the tier one launch countries have imported the system although media services will likely be locked to their respective regions (EG: BBC to Uk and Hulu to USA).

I think he's asking if the X1 allows you to have multiple accounts set to different regions on the same console. On the PS3/4 if you want to download a game that's only out in Japan, naturally you need access to the Japan PS Store. To do that you make a new account set to that region, download the game, and then you can play it from any account on that console (you just need the account to access the store).
