Ar no Surge is coming to PS Vita in the form of Ar no Surge Plus, this week’s Famitsu reveals.

The game will launch in Japan on October 2 alongside an offline version of Ciel no Surge, properly titled Ciel no Surge Offline.

Both games will cost 6,264 yen at retail, and 5,554 yen via download.

Ar no Surge Plus will feature touch compatibility, additional costumes, and more purification ceremony characters.

For Ciel no Surge Online, the game has apparently been reprogrammed from scratch

Visuals look fantastic. But how will it play?

As with most Gust games, it's a traditional JRPG with a twist (in this game, music) and fanservice.

It's their continuation of the Ar Tonelico series since Namco Bandai now own the rights to that.

Is this only in Japan for the ps3 as of right now?

Ar no Surge is out already on PS3, yes.  This is a "Plus" port like all the Atelier games get to Vita.

Ciel no Surge is already on Vita, but it's an online-only game with weird codes you have to put in.  They're removing all that stuff.  Hopefully for a western release!

Does it have interactive sex scenes?
