I've already proved in numerous other threads using official numbers that (show the possible sales range of these two consoles) it's too close to call between the PS3 and the 360 right now, neither console is 'officially' ahead.

And claiming the 360 has 'won' regardless because a new generation of consoles has started is asinine. Taking two consoles that didn't launch at the same time and comparing their different period of sales is just pure fanboy wishful thinking. 1st, 2nd and 3rd has always and will always be decided when all the consoles stop selling once and for all.

Then you missed out on the 5th party. Things got really wild (and kind of weird) at that one.

OT: The last 6-8 months of VGC numbers have been extremely unreliable, so I'd say wait until 6 more months for the customary real adjustments to occur. Also the 7th gen ends when all 7th gen consoles go out of production. That's a fact people.

the only reason this was somewhat competitive was the rrod, theres probably 15 mil more ppl with a ps3 compared to (non-repeat) 360 owners... I notice more than a few already mentioned this,cause how could they not. right now,ps3 is clearly truthfully in 2nd place by a good distance imo
