Because "sony is best" but then "What you compare the sytem to a PC? no PC doesn't count! Because we lose when it does!"

PC people making petitions to get PS4 exclusive Bloodborne.

They claim the game is being held at ransom. lol

That's... not a double standard. It makes sense to directly compare the PS4 to the X1 since both are the same price. They share the same expected "standard". Funnily enough a top tier gaming PC has a different expected standard :P

It is double standards because
1. you can do much more with a PC than just play games and do the typical console stuff so price is irrelevant here. also FYI my PC is as fast as those 2 consoles and did NOT cost 600+ bucks or whatever.

2. this started with the PS3 vs 360 era I did not say it started with the PS4 vs XBO era. PS3 was more expensive and 1 year newer than the 360 and yet both systems were compared (and if you now say PS3 was more expensive because of the bluray drive I remind you that thats the same as having a PC thats more expensive because you can do much more with a PC than a console like replacing hardware etc. Same thing)

3. how come people compare the PS to a WiiU then? Its not the same price but again as long as the Sony systems Win comparing is allowed  its just not allowed to compare it to a PC.
