LOL are you telling me the people whining that Sony mentioned 1080p regarding BF:HL weren't even correct about it? Hilarious.

Kinda, he did say it but it was on EA's conference when some EA guy was showing off the game, which happened a few hours earlier.

I don't see this as sonys fault even if they did come on and mention 1080p and 60fps they will have been told by EA that the game can acheive that. I doubt EA told them it would struggle to hit 900p and hit under 30fps and sony just said "you know what guys? 1080P 60FPS!!!"

It does matter because Sony has a very consistent history of lying to the public and then acting like nothing happened.

Just Google, "Sony lies about games" and see everything that comes up. Going back to every console ever released by them.

Just since November they have lied about the resolution and frame rates of Killzone, Watch Dogs and Battlefield. If it wasn't for Digital Foundry, they would be getting away with it.

This kinda comes to a whole argument of why have an open beta. They should only have closed betas until the product is at the point of release candidate status.

So much negativity that would likely be a fixed by the time of release anyways.

And only Killzone is their game. And it was only the resolution of the MP, too. Blame Ubi and EA for the other two

Meanwhile MS does it with their games, therefore they are to blame.

Which is why not a single PS4 exclusive has been "downgraded", unlike XB1's.

Google 'Microsoft lies about Xbox', and you'll get stacks of stories. Welcome to business.
