Forums - Gaming - Battlefield Hardline beta not 900 and has significant frame rate drops.

Damn. That's some awful optimizing.

Not Sony's fault though. It was EA who confirmed it to be 1080p/60fps on both consoles. Seeing as the beta has only just started I imagine Adam just said what he was told to say about a game he hadn't payed yet.

Lol. Dropping even below 30.

Also inb4 "But but but it's only a beta!!"

EA announced it was 1080p@60fps on both consoles, and then it only runs at 900p.  This being a beta is a legitimate excuse.

Never said it wasn't :P

Adam Boyes (Sony) is the one that came out said the beta is 60 fps and 1080p. Is EA to blame for that false information? Who knows.

The official Sony website claimed Watch Dogs is 1080p/60 fps. That didn't seem to be the case either.

We all know that was a simple mistake. If it was part of some devious master plan to fool the unwitting consumers of the world it wouldn't have been taken down so quickly. Ubisoft hadn't even confirmed it to be false yet when it was removed.

No offense but after playing the beta for it, I know I'll never buy it.

same here the beta is very mediocre and just feels like a reskin of a game that is sitting on my shelf

The people under Sony's employ make some pretty stupid decisions, easily the worst of the three, I'm sure even Sony fans are well aware of that.  This is one of many.

On their E3 conference, they used a movie trailer for Bloodborne instead of the gameplay trailer, probably the worst possible choice of a gameplay trailer they could have used for The Order 1866, I don't know how many years in a row they've had poor video techs at E3, etc.  All I have to say is, it's Sony.

Yeah, their ps4 could be selling more if they made the best decisions out of the three!

i am give it the benefit of being beta and not set to release until broketober but from what i played of i feel it though its pretty damn mediocre

The beta is way better on PC. I've played both, and I have no clue what they were doing with the ps4 beta.

It's just a beta.
