Of course they'll milk it...but since they are actually adding a lot of new content I think you will see a lot of people snapping it up quickly. Hell I would probably get GH1/2 again for the Wii if they were to re-release it.

You my friend are part of the problem. This is why developers don't go through great lengths to optimize a game for any console, especially the Wii, because someone like you will go and buy the game, for no other reason than it being available on the Wii.

What is the problem?

On that point specifically you really shouldn't rant about something you know literally nothing about.  Just because I would re-purchase GH1/2 for the Wii doesn't mean I would purchase any game just because its on the Wii.  Really that is a pretty ignorant thing to say.

Just looking over my games I bet the average review score would probably be somewhere around 85% and considering the GameRanking's average for Wii games is like 73% I'd say I'm doing pretty good at 12% higher than the average.

To Each Man, Responsibility

Of course they will. Remember when Tony Hawk was cool, ten years ago? There's a franchise that had enormous sales, and was totally destroyed through a deluge of uninspired sequels.

My Website

End of 2008 totals: Wii 42m, 360 24m, PS3 18.5m (made Jan. 4, 2008)

just look at the tony hawk series, possibly the most milked series ever?

They will and they should.

I dont see the GH franchise going thought big upgrades under in any developers hands. It has kind of reached the limit of what they can do with guitar only...Rock Band will continue the creativity of the original idea...while GH gets left behind to collect the cash from dumb parents and late Christmas shoppers.

You think they'll make one for my Commodore 64?

Yes, yes they will. I believe the milking has already begun...

There is a reason why I haven't purchased guitar hero III.

I agree with people saying that they already have started doing it :S

My mind has changed. My strength has not.    Kamahl, Fist of Krosa

Of course they'll milk the teat until blood comes oozing out...GH's loss will be Rock Band's gain, which will hopefully stop GH becoming too lazy and predictable...
Yes, the Tony Hawk series has been humiliated by Skate but it was necessary. Chances of the next Tony Hawk game sucking are very slim. Competition is a great motivator...

Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.

Patiently waiting for:  Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2
