well the big thing for me is it saves me from buying a second ps4 for my bedroom.

Well thats strange they should call it the same everywhere to not cause confusion. I see why tho they dont want it tied to the vita because of sales here but do they want the Playstation name tied to the words TV either? PR should step in on this one

im going to look into it, hopefully they release more details but the tech exists where you shouldnt need internet to stream from you ps4 to this device

it honestly adds to my theory (which i hope is wrong) that Sony is quietly abandoning the Vita due to its poor sells 

But I don't have a PS4. I'm planning on buying an Xbox One before the PS4 anyways.
