It's still an evasion of the question. It avoids discussion of the big three and who won the hearts and minds of gamers.

Oh. Well, I only saw the Microsoft one live. Had to work during the Sony/Nintendo conferences. For me, everything was spoiled for the second two. All I can say is that I'm happy to own all of the consoles...
And M$ won. :) But I see where you're coming from. It sucks to be on a forum and not be able to have a discussion because of the "unbiased" guy. I've been that guy several times. Really, it's either a valid opinion (like how I feel this year) or it's what the person who lost says because they'd rather say everybody wins instead of saying that their company losts (I've also been that guy, too!). Anyway, carry on. Gotta go to sleep. :(
The answer this year is simple for me. None of the big 3 blew my mind and none of them did terribly. Nintendo had some cool games. Lower price Kinectless 1 was a huge step in the right direction of righting the ship from last year. Uncharted and Bloodborn.

"but we want to discuss which company is coming out of this with most gamers attention." based on sales this wont be open to interpretation, company X already won and will keep winning for some time >_>
This was the exact opposite of what I expected. Interesting view, though, and good point about responses like that putting the kibosh on discussion.
The big three are in competition; competition for our patronage. Competition is what stirs these companies to try harder to appeal to us and win us over. So it is fair that we judge and critique their presentations. That said, there is a lot of biased and blind vitriol, and the concept of 'winning' is so subjective that it borders on pointless. As pointless as the "GAMERS ARE THE WINNERS" mindset, sometimes. I prefer to judge each one on their own merits and faults, personally.

Well you can't really tie e3 to sales at any particular moment. And even if you could, there is still a large window of time where discussion could be had
The best way to find out who won the hearts and minds of gamers is probably paying attention to buying trends. So here are some substancial info.
http://www.amazon.ca/bestsellers/2014-06/videogames#1 So far Canada is sold on Sonys E3 conference look at Junes best sellers.
http://www.amazon.com/bestsellers/2014-06/videogames#1
http://www.amazon.co.uk/bestsellers/2014-06/videogames#1
http://www.amazon.de/bestsellers/2014-06/videogames#1
http://www.amazon.fr/bestsellers/2014-06/videogames#1
So far MS and Sony are keeping things heated, Master Chief collection is a hit, Sonys Exclusive Lineup is causing traffic in Canada. Maybe we will find out by the end of this month, consumers vote with their wallets and its to soon to declare to a winner, cause not everyone is gonna press the trigger until they are final with their decision. But I can assure you that alot of people will be getting a Xbox One after hearing about the master chief collection so far its the top selling Xbox One game.
Note: The Amazon Links are not hourly they are cummulative sales so everything sold up until June 1st to June 13 is totalled to get the results.
