If you don't feel like reading it, I'll explain it: He repeats himself about how the player is the hero, and this regarding Zelda being the protagonist:

God, kill me now. It's Link. He's a boy. Nothing is different. Nintendo has said "Link is the player" for literally every year of the franchise's existence. Everyone needs to get over it.

The hero and main player of the game can and very much is still Link. However, that doesn't negate the fact that some part of the story line might have you play as another character and THAT character is who was purposefully shown in the teaser just to create this exact buzz.

Aparently he has now come out and 100% stated it was Link. Just sayin'. Darn, I liked the speculation.

Maybe if she is the protagonist the title finally makes sense.

Nintendo needs to learn not to joke with people. just say it like it is or avoid it completely to avoid confusion

this is like Beyonetta 2 with the dev saying it won't be on other consoles but the fans still think it will. Aonuma needs to tell people to fuck off!
