Who say people don't want AAA games on vita even a late port help Vita more then the whole indie vita library

Exactly. Sony should take notes.. Fund a cheap but good GTA (like Chinatown Wars) and Final Fantasy (like Crisis Core), make a Gran Turismo, a Daxter 2 and a God of War. Their wallet will thank them later.

No, they need better promotion and more original games. I don't want to play those games on Vita when I can play them on a console.

Best selling vita  games are consoles like games it proove people want those type of games not stupid indie games

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Cream:

200k > PS4 > 100k > XBO > Wii U > 360 > 50k > PS3 > Wii

The PS5 Exists.

200k > PS4 > 100k > XBO > Wii U > 360 > 50k > PS3 > Wii

Oh shit here we go

But.. those are the best selling games on the PSP. Sony doesn't have a Mario, Pokémon, Animal Crossing, etc.

I agree that more advertising of Vita and said games would be very important and more original games aren't a bad idea either.

How can you compare when there are no digital sales numbers?

Vita got an 1800% increase month on month. What the hell happened?

Borderlands 2 bundle actually did something. Also shows how VGC is totally whack.

The worst part is there was no real reason to be so far off on the Vita.  The Borderlands bundle came out the week before the standalone game.  VGC actually recorded sales for the week of the bundle.  Yet despite originally showing 42k+ sales when Borderlands was only available in the bundle, they showed ~2k hardware sales.

They did actually adjust it.  All the way to 5k.  How that made sense to ioi or whoever is overseeing these numbers is beyond me.

VGC's methodology is just terrible. Its numbers are dependent on a miniscule sample size of the market and past trends. In contrast, NPD actually buys access to sales numbers from major retailers and thus, their figures are way more accurate. I learned years ago to never, ever trust VGC numbers.

We know VGC is way off and the way they estimate... but to have a SW that is released ONLY IN A BUNDLE WITH THE SW outsell the total HW like 5:1+ is just moronic.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

I just don’t get Watch Dogs numbers.

So US NPD is 1.25M plus the differential for North America as a whole is what 10% more so that would be 1.375M. We have Europe numbers at 1.07M and Ubi said it sold total to consumers of 4M (400k of which are PC)

400k + 1.375M + 1.07M = 2.845M

So does NPD track digital sales as well? I can’t remember.

So I think it's safe to say VGC has zero idea what's it's doing. Those numbers are terrible

Vita almost beating WiiU during Mario Kart month. Ok that's pretty hilarious.

No it's not.... wii u 2 days vs vita month lol ...lol do the math lol ...that's hilarious two days vs a month lol

The hilarious is that all people from all fields brand Vita a doomed console and last month it done 5k. so the 1800% boost is crazy and funny that WiiU almost lost on its biggest release to the most doomed console ever.

You're building a falacy. The pre-order availability of the WiiU/MK8 doesn't really answer anything with regards to the "two days vs. three weeks" issue here. If pre-orders (not available from all retailers) were the answer to everything, then the supply drain on the MK8 bundle in major retailers wouldn't make any sense. We know that there's a missing 4x hardware movement in the the states that's obviously not apparent in these numbers as 60k/4 != 30k.

Wait until June.

You are quoting the wrong person...

So PS4 is overtracked by at least 50K but sales are still more than Xbox family + Wii U, XBO by at least 15K but more than 60K, last gen looks to be about right.
