Sales of 64-65K are more realistic.
And according to Reggie, the 4x increase in HW was in the week after MK8 came out. That being, if in the week of MK8, Wii U sold 20K, the first week of June Wii U sold 80K. More than the whole month of May!

No wonder Reggie said to look out for June`s NPD.

Well anyone who thought NA was going to see a much larger improvement than that was a fool. I actually thought that was impressive after learning it was just NA lol. I was expecting Xbone to handily beat WiiU in the NA region but be edged out WW. I would think WW numbers are more important than just one region right?

For smart people WW sales is more important, with NA having a slightly better weight than other markets because of attach ratio... but fanboys will choose whatever metrics seems more favourable.

most likely this is going to end up like the 6th generation of consoles were the playstation one just destroyed everyone

Nah its people being over dramatic. Two days total were tracked/surveryed and put into this total. People jumping on the doomed bandwagon again is just crazy at this point.


I agree to a point, I couldn't find a mk8 bundle to buy. Will do so sometime soon. I imagine I'm far from the only one considering the bundle is way more attractive than buying separate and then hunting for the dammed game too.
