Hey everyone. There has been many people saying that MK8 items are perfectly balanced, but the  other day when I was playing as Luigi, I was like in 6th and I came back to win in 1st place in the last like 5 seconds. I got the triple red shell and im not sure but I felt like I wasnt supposed to get it in 6th placed Because I rarely ever got triple red shells in MK wii. I was just wondering what you guys think about this. Is it unbalanced or is it just luck?

Just luck I think. I haven't gotten the triple red turtles playing grand prix yet. I still don't think it's balanced though, I often get coins and bananas no matter what place I'm in.

No real balanced at all. None of the items carry any real weight when in the back of the pack. Star power, bullet bill, lightning, blue shells, and 8 all seem lackluster. If you are in the top 3 you are golden as 4 - 12 are constantly ruining their chances, especially with many of the close quarter, cluster fuck courses.
