At the other side is the magical laser arrow you can see at the end. Next to it is the sword. Unfortunately, I don't have pics, but you can see at the trailer at 3:31. Once he take his magical arrow next to it is the sword sheath:

Good! I do think the bow will play a bigger role as a weapon than ever before, but it's really nice to see that his (her ;) ) sword is still here.

It's just link in his starting outfit before he gets his green tunic, Master Sword and Hylian Shield like in earlier games.

Is it actually Magical though? Cause if you look closely, he pulls on a thing that activates the arrow thing so maybe its not actually Magic but a regular weapon

I dunno, but looks badass, BTW, the arrow is not on the same quiver as the bomb arrows.
