im not really an RPG fan, and when i played deamons souls for a bit it just didnt click with me.

- Spring 2015 release window
- They started work on this right after finishing Artorias of the Abyss, targeting Sony's new hardware
- The world and story is completely new, and the setting takes full advantage of the PS4's capabilities
- They're targeting 30fps at 1080p
- The keywords for the game is "blood" and "beast"
- There will be melee and long range weapons (guns) this time
- Character customization is confirmed
- There will be no map display in the game
- He wants combat to not just focus on action but also the strategic element
- The combat in the game is designed to feel like a life or death struggle
- There will be online elements of some sort, and it will involve players "discovering" together



Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

I know it's still a new announcement, but when can we stop calling it "the new Souls game"?
I'm calling early April for Bloodborne right now.

love the atmosphere.. just love it. i love the look of the game and characters... just insane. 

is it open world? im seriously interested in this game.

I dont want Souls games to become a yearly thing. Never played Demons, but people say its better than Dark. Dark 1 was better than 2, and now a year later this. My gut tells me it will not be like the souls games but if it is it may not be good news.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

CDiablo : Dont forget that Dark Souls 2 has been made by a secondary team. and for Dark Souls 1, it depends on your preferences i guess.

but this isnt a souls game..... this is bloodborne....

I am aware at the moment, but the early footage makes it look an awful lot like a souls game. People are hyped based on them thinking it is a souls game.

I think this game will be enough different to not be bored compared to precedent ones
