You know what fuck this I'm out

- Expectations play a main role in a gamer's judgement.
- Multiplatforms were great.. exclusives not as much.
- CGI.. CGI and CGI again. Partially the reason why exclusives were underwhelming.
- Sony overall probably had the better lineup, but their presentation was worse.
- Many dreams were crushed. Shenmue, TLG, GT7, Crash, Legend of Dragoon (LOL)
- "CONKER IS FUCKING BACK!!!!!... oh wait.." I'd feel utterly trolled if Sony pulls a similar move with Spyro.
- In case you didn't notice, LBP3 isn't being developed by Media Molecule. Though the reveal was the show's biggest surprise, a big question mark still remains.

Some of those who eagerly anticipate a few impossible-ish games sadly won't value it from an objective perspective. Show a thousand decent games without giving them what they want and they'll be pissed about it and factor that into their score.

do we know who is developing LBP?

to be honest, LBP vita (tarsier) was better than 1 or 2 which were developed by MM.  i'm okay with MM moving on and we already knew they did for at least a year now.  it was either have someone else do LBP or no LBP at all. 

i'm quite happy to have LBP, quite surprised to see it shown last night, and floored to find out it is coming this holiday.

I just hope sony goes the "nintendo" route with this game.  LBP should be a once per generation type game.  no sequels on ps4 please.  just give me a yearly, holiday expansion pack with ~10 new levels and 1 new gameplay mechanic and i'll be very happy.  the community levels are great enough to keep me coming back from time to time anyways and i don't want a split userbase like last gen.

i just got back from watching sony's conference at the theatre where everyone was clapping and cheering thoughout the show and left with massive grins on their faces. we saw awesome footage from third pary games like batman, destiny, farcry, mortal kombat, metal gear.  we saw amazing exclusives like little big planet 3, the order 1886, uncharted 4, blood born, entwined, suda's game, the infamous dlc.  some improved old games in grim fandago, ratchet and clank, the last of us.  a neat free show in powers.  a bunch of now doubt awesome games even if they are from small developers like no man's sky, nuclear, bro force, the one from the guys who made journey that are now called giant squid.  ...i'm going from memory here but someone else can probably fill is some of my gaps. 

now i didn't catch MS show but i know we got a new tomb raider, an exclusive from platinum, i believe 2-3 good looking indies, forza horizon, and the halo complete collection.  i'm sure i've got even bigger gaps here cause i only caught the headlines so far. 

point is this was a hell of a great day. i come back from the show expecting to see lots of excitement and what do i find,.. negativity almost exclusivly.  and why?,. because a game is multiplat? because the trailer was (possibly) gci.  because someone leaked the announcment to the internet and ruined your ability to be surprise?  because old awesome games aren't awsome when remade to be even awesomer? because you can't enjoy a game that has a lable of indie or free to play?

You don't like Fallout? I think it is one of the most requested announcements by gamers? The Twitter guy from bethesda is getting nuts because so many gamers ask him about the Next Fallout game;.

would you hate me less now if i said i was interested in bloodborne? i just hope it isnt much like the souls series.
