Given Titanfalls success in relation to the Xbox One install base what do people think are the odds of Titanfall 2 being announced at this year's E3?
From my perspective EA are going to want to get their big franchise going on the PS4 as soon as possible and are therefore likely to be moving on quickly from the first Titanfall.

Unless it's launching this fall I think it would be a mistake.
Titanfall has sold tremendously and has opportunity for great legs. But if you announce TF2 this early in the game, then that kills sales from people buying consoles this fall and looking for games to play.
ehh i think 2015 at least i mean the titanfall legs are strong so it will end up selling great at the end(especially at christmas)

I absolutely agree with what you have said and have thought so before but what has lead to to believe a small chance for Titanfall 2 being announced is the success of the PS4 console.
EA may be willing to sell Titanfall short on expanded content if they can start building their fanbase on the PS4 as soon as possible.

Sales have been disappointing for such hype and marketing, so yes, they'll release a sequel very soon and on more platforms this time.

With an install base of 4.5 million consoles I would say that 1.84 million sales is impressive in my opinion. But given that it was exclusive it may very well have been a dissapointment to EA.

In my opinion it's like a 5% chance we will get just an announcement and small trailer.
