Forums - Gaming - Random question about E3

Ok, so E3 is the gaming mecca of video games and gamers. And during each 3 day show there are probably thousands of gear all over the place. From consoles, to TVs to projectors, PCs, controllers....etc. Aroun the floor in private lobbies all being abused and malhandled by gamers and pets, my question is....

What do they do with all that equipment afterwards? Especially the TVs, consoles and controllers.

Around the Network

I have no clue... Good question.

Put it in storage and wait for next year I guess.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

lol, good question. you can't exactly rebox it and sell it as new. maybe they get boxed up and given away as door prices and raffles and the such.

the TV get used for different events. I think the booth equipment belongs to the publisher or developer who has rented the booth, so they take it with them

Around the Network

But I´ll ask on Tuesday and tell you

those are assets of the company (Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft), i bet they just take good care of them and storage them for use later in other events (Gamescom, Pax, next years E3 etc.)

Maybe they rent the TVs but the consoles and controllers are probably from the studios themselves.

"There is only one race, the pathetic begging race"

Most of the equipment is rented.

Give all the equipment to whoever it belongs too?
