Will wait before saying anything. There has been several rumours like this about TLG in the past close to E3 that were false.

Yes guys Sony wants you to go the theater near you so you they can officially tell you the game is canceled in GIANT LETTERS .
Shu pretended to be a nice guy his whole life just for this very moment.
^
call me a fool but i still think it means the game is coming out on both PS3 and PS4
makes sense after all, last year what Sony said was that the game was going through a process similar to what we're seeing with TLOU now. So in practice there should be two working versions of the game. And even though it could hurt PS4 sales a little bit, releasing cross gen would be a nice gesture, considering TLG was a "promise" for ps3 owners.

Just as a reminder, here's something official (3rd of October 2013)
"So, we're waiting for the right time to re-introduce The Last Guardian in an appropriate way. I can't... Well, the game is in development, and it's well staffed, and Ueda-san is here, working - even though he's not a Sony employee, he's dedicated to the product. But we're not ready to update yet." - Shuhei Yoshida
Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.
Yoshi also mentioned (i bet he regrets this now) that TLG was not reintroduced earlier because they wanted to focus on Knack as a launch title and leave TLG for later. I suppose it made sense from a marketing perspective (Knack being more of a family, "mainstream" game), but clearly not a good call.
Maybe he just means it's canceled for the show.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
On a more serious note, of course the game is not cancelled, this rumor is perfect bullshit.
1 year ago, Yoshida talked about the game being " re-engineering " ( so come to PS4 finally)
Good insider Demonite told us that the creative work is over, they are just building it on PS4 now.
Yoshida talked again about the game at VGX, saying he played it but didnt want to say which controller it was.
and, then, there is this more recently : http://www.dualshockers.com/2014/04/10/the-last-guardian-news-and-release-date-may-be-coming-soon-according-to-weekly-famitsu/
So i'd be surprised if the game is not annouced at e3
Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:
PS4: 17m XB1: 10m WiiU: 10m Vita: 10m
