Dead Rising 3 Reportedly Coming to Steam

  Share.
Steam listing removed, but not before the Internet got ahold of it.

Dead Rising 3 appears to be coming to PC through Steam.

Steam Database listing (via NeoGAF) showed an icon of the game earlier today. The listing has since been removed to hide or delete it, but the image remains on Steam's database.

Dead Rising 3 was published by Microsoft, and was positioned as an Xbox One exclusive when it launched last year. However, that may have been a timed exclusive, and newly-appointed Xbox head Phil Spencer recently said one of his goals is to "bring back our Windows gaming focus."

In a positive review, IGN enjoyed the variety of weapons and endless swaths of zombies to use them on, but found the navigation frustrating. In recent financial results, Capcom revealed it had sold 1.2 million copies as of March 31.

It would be pretty strange if true. The last thing the X1 needs right now is one of its exclusive titles becoming available on the PC :/

Would be pretty cool though. DR3 had some pretty shitty frame rate issues sometimes because of the zombie count, a PC version would give people the opportunity to play it without those issues.

At least this picture has some meaning. Unlike other platforms for a limited time isnt the case with playstation. Sony sticks with their words.

Yes, I had a feeling this thread was made just so a post like that could be made

Good job then, mission accomplished. Now let's skip over the part where a dozen other people come in and make the same exact post in varying ways.

I try and not comment in threads anymore but you really just seem to be searching for an argument.  Maybe cut out th subtle jabs and petty console war bs

As far as im concernd this is good news.  Dead Rising 3 was reaching its limit and MSFT allows them to go to PC to maximize profits.  Good for both parties and keeping a healthy relationship.  Wouldnt it be nice if Sony did that with som of their games like Byond Two Souls or Ratched A& Clank?  If they did im guessing you wouldnt be saying anything and people could just enjoy .  Or maybe yiou forget that MSFT is a PC company too

you need 2 jobs to play it properly on pc anyway

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I havent forgotten that and havent forgotten Games for windows live.

No! This was the one that was going to make me buy an X1. Now Sunset Overdrive has to be insanely good for me to buy an X1 in the near future.. :(

What is Microsoft doing? Is this the downside of buying third party exclusives? That the third party devs want their game on other platforms sooner or later.
