It's not really bashing. Ubi pretty much flat out lied about how it looked, and that video I linked shows a lot of crap you wouldn't get away with years ago. All I'm saying is when the one thing that makes your game unique, the hacking, is the worst option in almost every single situation, then the game doesn't live up to the hype.

The inevitable sequel will hopefully be a better product, because this one was a buggy victim of its own hype. It's a financially successful game that's been turned into a bastardized asscreed/gta crossover.

What a load of shit.

The hacking is rarely the worst option. You can do entire missions just with hacking.

If you're skilled in shooters you barely need to hack..

So will this be the new COD?
Everybody hates it but it sells like crazy?

It feels sort of like Assassin's Creed 1. Sells well, but is very tech demo-like and in dire need of a sequel that gets things right the next time around.

I can see sales slowing like a rock soon. People will be skeptical of the 2nd game now, so Ubi better get it right.

I hope not. AC got better with every installment and people still complained. At least it sold decently despite all the complaints.

If people see it like AC though(which it actually is with a Watch Dog skin) then franchise fatigue could set in even faster.

I can also sever a major artery and use the resulting blood spray to put out a match, but that doesn't make it a good option.

Why exactly is a not a good option? The game is geared to let you do it and it works really well.

But missions that are the combination of both hacking and stealth are the most fun ive found.

Everything other than the original showing has looked like a typical empty headed Ubisoft game. No surprise from me.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords
