Popular Japanese magazine Famitsu has revealed some brand new details regarding "Guilty Gear Xrd". The publication confirmed Guilty Gear Xrd will support cross-play feature between Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 versions. This is really an unexpected news but a welcome one

In addition to this, Famitsu confirmed that Guilty Gear Xrd will feature new characters for home version and a story mode. Last but not the least, the game will run at glorious 1080p on Playstation 4, and on 720p on Playstation 3.

A woman named Ramlethal Valentine appears before humanity and declares war upon the world. It is now up to the world to take action and once again prevent humanity’s destruction. But who will stand against such a formidable foe?

Inciting a revolution in the Guilty Gear fighting franchise, Guilty Gear Xrd is the first game of the series to utilize Unreal Engine technology.

Good but not suprising, should be a standard for fighting games, just like 60fps is a standard for the genre.

I'm glad they bring back Guilty Gear which has a nostalgic factor to me, while Blazblue is equally as good, the characters in Guilty Gear left a better impression on me.

Now if only they could release this on other consoles, or PC for fuck's sake.
