Cross gen isn't so bad. I've not seen any other manufacturer support their console this long.

Are you serious?

While it may be trendy to keep bashing MS for not supporting their console, it is 360's 9th year. In its 9th year it got a Fable remaster, Project Spark, and Forza Horizon as 1st party games. Cross gen sure, but 1st party support nonetheless. Also MS went through the trouble of buying out the PS3/PS4 version of Titanfall so that 360 and X1 can have it to themselves, along with buying timed exclusivity of Peggle 2 and PVZ Garden Warfare. Plus XBLA is still going strong.

For 1st party I remember God of War 2 being released in PS2's 7th year? PS3's 9th year won't be until 2015, and Nintendo never supported a console long after its successor came out.

So with all that said, I think you owe yourself some clarity and recognize what is happening.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I see nothing changes whilst I was away. MS literally cannot win with a lot of you guys.

Well don't to MS for supporting the 360 for so long... They have asked a DIFFERENT developer to port this game developed on the ONE to the 360.

Well played.

Since this thread was dragged off topic by many people I shall continue too... this forum would have an orgasm if a PS4 port of GT6 was announced, without a hint of irony.

Are you saying that Forza Horizon 2 is a 360 port?

What he is saying is that both cases the games are cross gen. Being a port is not the point. It is like PS guys being excited for LOU and possibly GT6 for PS4 when that is just 2 examples of a game going cross gen.

Perhaps, before you respond to my post, you should read what I myself responded TO. It's not always about conflict, it's sometimes about balance.

Fair enough, but then again it is all too common for the MS doesn't support 360 opinions to come rolling in, despite their late efforts recently.

Yes, I agree, but my comment wasn't about that. I wouldn't shy away from such a debate though, depending on context of course.

the two games will not even be using the same engine the x1 version is using f5s engine while the 360 version is using the fh1 engine

so even Microsoft won't commit to next gen

1. Most of their 1st party isn't cross gen.

2. The studio creating the game is building it for X1 on Forza 5's engine. Another studio is handling the 360 version.

3. There isn't any proof that cross gen games lead to inferior 8th gen graphics. Most 8th gen exclusives could be 7th gen games.

Really? PS3 is getting some Sony made exclusives in its 9th year (2015)?

Guess I missed the announcement.

Hasn't been an announcement yet, but they'll be getting MLB The Show '15.  So yeah.
